A LOAN move would do Crystal Palace midfielder "good", says Tony Pulis' right-hand man Dave Kemp.
The 20-year-old has struggled to gain a regular first team place this season after returning from a serious ankle injury, and a number of clubs are interested in the Wales international.
"There are clubs who want to take him and I think it will do him good," Kemp told the Advertiser.
"We want him to get a run of league games together and he's obviously a very talented boy.
"There comes a time in your career where you just need to go out and just play. That's where Jonny is at right now and I think Tony will find him a good club to play at.
"There is interest (from Championship clubs), Jonny is highly rated and very well thought of.
"People are queuing up to take him but I think Tony will send him a to club that suits him and his style of play to make sure it's right."
Pulis has previously stated he would prefer to send Williams to a club where he knows the manager well, while it seems it won't matter if a club in the Championship, for example, is riding high at the top or fighting to avoid relegation.
Kemp said: "That might come into it. But it might not be a plus or a minor either way.
"Obviously if you get into a promotion situation, that would be good. But sometimes it's a good learning curve if you're playing for a club playing down the bottom.
"It's all experience. It's all getting knowledge you can't buy in the shops under your belt and you can benefit from that."
