HIGH winds and torrential rain are handing Crystal Palace fans a nightmare journey to tonight's match at Goodison Park.
The Eagles fans are travelling into the eye of a storm, with guts of up to 90mph and heavy rain hitting the north-west.
The Met Office has a 'red' serious weather warning in place for Merseyside but, with just over an hour to go until the scheduled kick-off at 7.45pm, the match is still ON.
Palace fans have shared their frustration and tales of weather woe on social media.
Amanda Hollidge tweeted: "M6 shut.. Hope we make it!!! #cpfc #awaydays #coach6"
Charlotte Royston added: "It's all a bit mental up here.. Praying that we've not come up for nothing #cpfc"
But some fans found humour in the situation.
Paul Jeeves tweeted: "At least Cameron Jerome's shots might get blown on target tonight! #CPFC"
