POP Idol star Gareth Gates will be the star of this year's Croydon pantomime at Fairfield Halls.
Unchained Melody singer Gates will appear as Prince Charming in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
The panto will run from December 5, 2014, to January 4 next year.
The serial reality television star, who is currently appearing in ITV's The Big Reunion, had four number one singles and sold 5.3million records in the 2000s.
In the second series of The Big Reunion, he is part of a 'supergroup' featuring Croydon's very own Dane Bowers and former Coronation Street star Adam Rickitt.
He is no stranger to the theatre either, touring with hit musicals such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Les Miserables and Legally Blonde.
