TONY Pulis has confirmed he was interested in bringing Wigan Athletic defender Ivan Ramis to Selhurst Park.
However, the Spaniard opted to talk to Cardiff City instead, who it appears have offered him higher wages.
"We enquired about Ramis, but he went off and spoke to Cardiff," said Pulis.
"We did enquire, we were interested in the lad but Cardiff made him a better offer so he went down to them.
"We had spoken to Wigan, the boy and to his agent."
There are now reports suggesting Ramis may have failed a medical in Wales and that the Eagles could go back in for him.
