SPECULATION is growing that former Crystal Palace boss Ian Holloway could be set for a return to the dugout - at another south London club. Bookies have reported a flurry of bets on the 50-year-old taking charge at Millwall, who have been without a manager since Steve Lomas was sacked at Christmas. Holloway, now priced as short as 1/6 for the Millwall job, admitted he was "tired" when he stepped down as Palace manager in October - but made it clear he wanted to get back into the game eventually. And he has a good track record in the second tier of English football, having got both Blackpool and, famously last May, Palace promoted to the Premier League. If Holloway does take the reins at The Den, a few Millwall fans may be forced to eat a slice or two of humble pie. The former Eagles boss told the Advertiser of the abuse he'd suffered at the hands of the Lions supporters, when he went to see Millwall play Blackburn prior to Palace's visit to The Den towards the end of last season. Holloway told us back in April: "As I walked into the ground at The Den, I got totally and utterly abused by the Millwall fans just for walking along. "Obviously there is a fair bit of dislike between Millwall and Palace, but as far as I'm concerned I've got to get my lads prepared to go into that sort of atmosphere."
