LEICESTER City boss Nigel Pearson has confirmed he may consider offering former Crystal Palace striker Kevin Phillips a contract following his release from Selhurst Park.
The 40-year-old is looking to finish his career closer to home in the Midlands, with the likes of Leicester and Wolverhampton Wanderers said to be interested in particular.
And now Foxes boss Pearson has admitted he could offer the former England man a deal until the end of the season.
"The last time I worked with him (at West Bromwich Albion) he scored a hat-trick so it would be a bit silly not to be partly interested," Pearson was quoted.
"We'll see what happens."
