THE success of five Croydon College apprentices has been celebrated by their employer, Sussex Health Care.
The students were invited to the company's annual staff awards last week and were presented with their apprenticeship certificates.
Sussex Healthcare runs care homes in Sussex and the awards recognised the apprentices' work record.
One of the students, Corrina Commings, also received a Level 2 health and social care award gained during her course with Sussex Health Care.
In return, the college presented Dr Shafik Sachedina, proprietor of Sussex Health Care, with its apprenticeship employer award for health and social care
Wendy Cox, the college's training and assessment coordinator, said: "Sussex Health Care has provided training and transport facilities for our apprentices.
"It has been great and has shown tremendous support ."
