KATE Moss got steamy for charity this week as she read a saucy extract from Fifty Shades of Grey live on Radio 1 in aid of Comic Relief.

The supermodel took part in the radio station's bid to raise £200,000 for Comic Relief by encouraging listeners of her friend Nick Grimshaw's Breakfast Show to donate and hear her read an extract from Fifty Shades of Grey.

Dubbed 50 Shades of Kate, the notoriously silent supermodel read an extract from the infamously smutty novel as it was announced that the station had raised more than the target sum.

Admitting she was nervous, the Croydon-born model said: "There's a reason I don't talk!"

The task was just the latest contribution Moss had made to Comic Relief's fundraising efforts for Red Nose Day, which takes place tonight.

The supermodel has also modelled the official Stella McCartney-designer T-shirts , donated a handbag to David Gandy's auction , and taken part in numerous comedy sketches for the cause over the years.
