SHADOW transport secretary Michael Dugher is to visit New Addington today to meet residents concerned about changes to their bus route.
The MP for Barnsley East will join Labour's prospective parliamentary candidate for Croydon Central Sarah Jones to talk to people in Overbury Crescent who have criticised Transport for London's proposals to change a bus route to include their road.
Residents have complained their road is too narrow and have concerns about the noise impact of having a bus travel down their road every seven to eight minutes during the day and every 30 minutes all through the night.
They have also complained about a lack of consultation over the plans from TfL.
Mr Dugher will be at the corner of Homestead Way and Overbury Crescent at approximately 1pm today.
