PRIME Minister David Cameron is in Croydon this morning visiting Harris City Academy Crystal Palace.
Mr Cameron is visiting the Harris Federation secondary, in Maberley Road, Upper Norwood, to announce that maths and science must be the top priority in schools.
A new computer science GCSE will be established and a national college for coding and digital skills will be launched, Mr Cameron is expected to say.
It will see 15,000 existing teachers receive specialist training and an extra 2,500 specialist maths and physics staff recruited over the next Parliament.
Mr Cameron will say he wants to ensure future generations are able to compete for the best jobs with their international counterparts.
