CRYSTAL Palace striker Dwight Gayle has been linked with a loan move to Wolverhampton Wanderers in recent days, according to rumours and reports.
However, it is understood that the forward isn't going anywhere and is firmly in Neil Warnock's first team plans.
Gayle has had a frustrating time of late, having had to settle for a place on the substitutes' bench.
He scored a hat-trick in the Capital One Cup at Walsall at the end of August and then again days later in Warnock's first game in charge away at Newcastle United.
But since then his game time has dried up and that has prompted speculation over a loan move away.
With Fraizer Campbell and Marouane Chamakh failing to score regularly at the moment and Glenn Murray on loan at Reading, it would seem strange to let another frontman go.
Palace fans have been calling for Gayle to get more minutes on the pitch but that has yet to be the case. He played just ten minutes at Old Trafford on Saturday.
