POLICE are looking for a man who took a double-decker bus on a seven mile joyride from Bromley to Croydon, before parking up and getting off at a bus stop in Shirley.

Officers say that on Saturday, September 15, the man walked into the Farnborough Hill bus depot in Orpington at 9.15pm and took the bus, eventually stopping at the bus stop in Shrublands Avenue.

Around £500 of damage was done to the vehicle during the journey, when it scraped against a wall.

The Met have now released a picture of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

Anyone with any information can contact PC Paul Bridgland at Bromley's Safer Transport Team on 200 8284 8714 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
