SAM Magri looks set to find out on Thursday whether he will be offered a contract by Crystal Palace after spending the last three weeks with the club on trial.
The former Portsmouth and Queen Park Rangers defender has featured in all of the Eagles Development Squad's matches in pre-season.
The centre-back feels he has done well in the last few weeks but admitted it could be tough to find a new club should the Eagles decide against signing him.
"It's been three weeks and it's been really good - it's a bit frustrating for me as I still don't know what's going on but I think I am finding out on Thursday," Magri told the Advertiser.
"I will train then get the decision. I think I've been doing all right, things can affect the decision though so we'll have to wait and see.
"All the lads have been great and welcomed me well. That has helped me to do well here so I just have to wait and see Thursday.
"If someone doesn't like you, it's a horrible experience but I've got on with everyone at Palace well.
"I just hope I can get a good decision here then I'm set to go.
"If not, it's kind of back to the drawing board really.
"I didn't get a new contract at QPR at the end of last season so I'm just trying to find a new club.
"It does worry me a lot (that I don't have a club).
"If you look in the Premier League, there are players younger than me at my age playing and I haven't got a club so it's always difficult."
