EVERTON will have the odds "stacked in the favour" against Crystal Palace on Wednesday night, according to Eagles boss Tony Pulis.
The Toffees need to carry on winning to claim a Champions League place, while Palace need to come away with at least a point to be on the brink of confirming Premier League survival.
And Pulis is keen to reiterate how important it's been for his side not to get carried away with the good form recently of three wins and a draw in their last five games.
"The important thing is to keep doing what we're doing and keep our feet on the ground and recognise where we are," said the boss.
"What happens in life, especially in football, you might do something where people get carried away.
"As a football manager for a long time, I know where this football club is and where we're at.
"It's a massive game tomorrow and the odds are stacked in their favour in any way shape or form – but football's football.
"You can get results irrespective of who you're playing. I am very superstitious in lots of respects so until we're mathematically over the line, I'll just keep worrying."Follow us on Twitter for live updates from Goodison Park on Wednesday night at @AdvertiserSport and @MR_LWMedia.
