TONY Pulis is hoping Jason Puncheon can continue his fine form and help Palace stay in the Premier League.
The winger is set to come up against Aston Villa tomorrow at Selhurst Park on the back of two stunning goals last weekend at Cardiff City – and victory for the Eagles could be enough to see them over the finishing line.
Pulis believes the Croydon-born man has settled back in south London after playing for a number of sides in his career and has called on him to be more consistent too.
The boss said: "Punch can be anything he wants to be. He's got the tools to be a top player.
"But he's been very, very inconsistent in his career. Good players are not that inconsistent.
"For him to be a good player, he needs to put in a shift week after week after week.
"We have spoken to him about that. He's happy at the moment and for us, we just hope and pray he continues this form until the end of the season.
"I didn't realise has had nine clubs – more clubs are in my golf bag!"
