THE New Addington Over-21 Club will be hosting two fundraising events to help an eight-year-old girl travel to the USA for a life-changing operation.
The social club is backing Scarlett Hewitt's family's attempt to raise £65,000 for travel and the procedure, which would drastically reduce the symptoms of her cerebral palsy and leave her able to walk unaided.
The events will take place at the club, in North Downs Crescent, over the Easter Bank Holiday, from 3.30pm on Good Friday and from 1.30pm on Easter Sunday.
Activities on the Friday will include fancy dress, face-painting, music and children's games, as well as a barbecue from 4pm until 9pm.
On the Sunday, there will be karaoke from 3.30pm until 8.30pm, a barbecue from 2pm, a bouncy castle, and a raffle.
