A TRAIN passenger from Croydon has been arrested on suspicion of racially abusing a woman on the Tube.
The incident began on a Northern Line train travelling towards London Bridge at around 6.50pm on March 28.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
PC Keith Jarrett, said: "Two men allegedly racially abused a woman, who confronted the pair after they pushed into her on the train.
"The incident continued as the woman travelled up the escalator towards the booking hall at London Bridge station.
"I'd urge anyone who was onboard the service at the time and witnessed what happened to contact police. I'd also like to speak to the woman who was subjected to the racial abuse."
A 23-year-old man, from Croydon, and a 28-year-old man, from Bermondsey, were both arrested on suspicion of committing a racially aggravated public order offence.
They were both released on bail until April 14 pending further investigation.
