ADRIAN Mariappa believes former Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha will come good in the Premier League after a slow start to his Manchester United career.
Having been loaned out to Cardiff City, the Eagles came up against the man who helped them to the top flight last season – and Mariappa got a slight taste playing against him.
"I didn't play with him last season so I don't know what he's like as a character," he said.
"I'm sure once he gets a run of games and playing week in, week out, his form will come good."
And the right-back also praised Joe Ledley for scoring against his hometown club at a vital part of the match.
"He came through at Cardiff so he'll have a lot of respect and also his family were at the game," added Mariappa.
"It was a mark of respect and I was delighted he got a goal as well."
