A SAFE containing 80 vehicle keys and charity cash has been stolen from a company in New Addington. Standard Investment Group in Vulcan Way is offering a £1000 reward for the return of all the keys, which are for company vehicles parked elsewhere. Its director Barry Bryant said CCTV shows three people turning up at the business at 2.30am on Saturday in a four-wheel drive. He said the tape shows two of them hot-wiring the shutters to raise them, before throwing a slab into the window glass and breaking in. They then headed upstairs where they stole the safe before leaving in the car. Police are investigating but no arrests have been made. Mr Bryant added: "I think they came specifically for money. They just came into the office and went straight upstairs. "They spent about 4-5 minutes in the building and the only thing they took with them was the safe." As well as the keys, the safe contained around £750 of a charity fund the business raises for local good causes. The company is also offering a £1000 reward for information leading to the conviction of those involved. Mr Bryant said he understood the vehicle seen in the CCTV had since been found dumped in Milne Park. The company provides civil engineering, excavation and reinstatement services to the construction industry, local authorities and utility companies. Anyone with information is asked to phone the company on 01689 808 844, or email accounts@standard-holdings.co.uk.
