A MAN arrested in connection with the murder of a Polish national whose body was found in a well in Warlingham has been re-bailed.
Damian Chlywka, 32, was found by labourers clearing weeds in the garden of 11a Audley Drive on November 15 last year.
He had been severely beaten and then wrapped in a plastic sheet before being hid in the well, where his body had remained for around two years.
Mr Chlywka lived at various addresses across London before he came to the UK from Glogow in south west Poland in 2008.
He was last seen on April 17, 2011, when he was living at a property in Thornton Heath.
He left the address to do some decorating work for a friend but was not seen again.
Nine people arrested during the investigation into his death have been released without further action.
One man, arrested on December 10, answered bail at a south London police station on Monday (February 24) and was re-bailed until March 24.
