A REPORTER with The Sun is facing three charges relating to illegal payments to public officials. Neil Millard, from Croydon, was today (Wednesday) charged with three offences related to misconduct in public office, following a Met Police probe under Operation Elveden, which is linked to the phone hacking inquiry. Mr Millard, a former Croydon Advertiser reporter, will appear alongside seven other people charged today at Westminster Magistrates' Court on March 10. The CPS has decided there is insufficient evidence to charge three other people who were investigated.
