A CRYSTAL Palace fan arrested after objects were thrown at Wayne Rooney during Saturday's defeat at Selhurst Park has been bailed. A bottle and coins appeared to be thrown at the Manchester United star as he prepared to take a corner next to the Homesdale Stand. A 44-year-old man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of throwing an object onto the pitch and was taken to a south London police station. He has since been bailed until late March. A Met spokesman said: "We continue to liaise with club officials and the referee over allegations of coin throwing at the match. "We will continue to make further enquiries over the coming days." Manchester United eventually ran out two-nil winners, with goals from Robin van Persie and Rooney.
