THIS was the spectacular, colourful scene that greeted Tony Pulis' men as they walked onto the Selhurst Park pitch to take on Man Utd. The entire Holmesdale Stand behind the goal was transformed into a sea of red and blue. There was also a mural of the Palace players, with the message 'together, our spirit is unbreakable' stretched across the width of the stand. The display - picked up by the Sky Sports TV cameras before the match - was organised by the Holmesdale Fanatics supporters' group and has received widespread praise on social media, from Palace fans and supporters of rival teams alike. @Kelly_Mason tweeted: "Wow the holmesdale looks amazing!!!!" while Chris Allen added: "That Holmesdale display looks awesome!!" However, on a less positive note, Palace could find themselves in hot water with the FA, after Man Utd striker Wayne Rooney was pelted with coins as he tried to take a corner in front of the Holmesdale in the first half. Referee Michael Oliver was made aware of the incident and, if he includes it in his post-match report, the FA could act.
