THE south of Croydon remains on flood alert after more heavy rain over the weekend.
The Environment Agency's alert, which relates to high groundwater levels in the Caterham Bourne, has been in place since early January - and remains active for areas including Kenley, Purley, and South Croydon.
According to the warning, further heavy rainfall could mean that "low-lying roads and properties further downstream will be susceptible to flooding."
No flood warnings are in place for Croydon's other rivers, including the Wandle and the Ravensbourne.
As for the weather, the forecast suggests we're in for a dry day on Monday, but more rain is predicted for Tuesday and Wednesday.
