TONY Pulis was angry with the performance of referee Michael Jones as Crystal Palace were knocked out of the FA Cup by Wigan this afternoon (Saturday).
The Eagles thought they should have had a penalty late in the game at the DW Stadium, for an apparent shirt pull on striker Dwight Gayle.
Palace lost 2-1 to last season's FA Cup winners, but Pulis felt the result could have been different with more help from the man in black.
The Eagles boss said: "We're disappointed not to get something out of the game. We came to have a go and tried to win the game.
"When you play in Cup ties you need certain decisions to go your way. One or two decisions didn't go our way but that is what happens."
Pulis added that defender Jonathan Parr had been taken to hospital for a scan, having been carried off at the end of the first half after a collision with Wigan winger Callum McManaman.
He also confirmed a deal to bring former Liverpool midfielder Momo Sissoko to Selhurst Park had fallen through.
Former Palace star Ben Watson and winger James McClean bagged the goals that put the Latics into the fifth round, with Aaron Wilbraham having made it 1-1 midway through the second half.
