A NUMBER of players are being linked with moves to Crystal Palace during the current transfer window. The Croydon Advertiser will take a look at who the nationals believe are targets for the Eagles, plus gossip columns online. And of course, we'd like to ask you, the fans. Who would you like to see arrive at Selhurst Park to boost Tony Pulis' side?TUESDAY, JANUARY 14 The Daily Mirror are linking the Eagles with a number of players at present. The latest involves Carlton Cole, is now a free agent after his contract with West Ham United ran out on Monday. The 30-year-old, who was heavily linked with a move to Palace in the summer, could become a target for Tony Pulis this time around, while the Mirror also believe QPR will provide competition for Cole's signature. Peter Crouch continues to be linked with a reunion with Pulis from Stoke City, but Potters boss Mark Hughes is adamant the striker isn't leaving. Indeed, Crouch is set to come up against Palace this weekend at Selhurst Park. Could we be seeing the former England striker beyond the month? Former Swansea and Aston Villa striker Luke Moore is said to be a target after it emerged he is available for nothing. Moore signed a three-year deal with Turkish club Elazigspor in the summer, but they are now set to let him leave as they are struggling to meet their financial obligations. Palace are understood to be one of a few clubs that have registered an interest. Meanwhile, Everton striker Nikica Jelavic looks set for a move to Hull City, subject to agreeing terms with Steve Bruce's side, but a late bid could scupper the deal if the Croatian fancies a move to London instead. Scott Dann is said to be on high on Pulis' list from Blackburn Rovers, while the boss may look to raid his former club Stoke for the likes of Marc Wilson, Ryan Shotton and Matthew Etherington. Any hopes of landing Wilfried Zaha on loan from Manchester United look to be long gone after David Moyes denied the winger a London return. However, Eagles co-chairman Steve Parish did hint to the Advertiser last week they may try again before the end of the window.
