A COMMITTEE that provides independent advice to the police is seeking new members.
Croydon Police Independent Advisory Group (AIG) has regular meetings with the borough's most senior police officers.
It provides advice and guidance on how crime and policing issues might impact on communities.
Chairman Shuaib Yusaf said: "We're looking for new people who are part of and know their community well.
"This is a great opportunity for someone who can think strategically and wants to offer their experience to assist and guide the local police command team on the impact of policing decisions in Croydon's communities and have a real influence on policing the borough."
Anyone who would like to join the AIG should contact Croydon Police and obtain an information and application pack.
The closing date for applications is February 28.
