CRYSTAL Palace will be without a number of players for their Boxing Day trip to Aston Villa, including in-form striker Marouane Chamakh.
Manager Tony Pulis said: "We've a problem at the club because we've got quite a few injuries.
"Marouane Chamakh is also suspended on Boxing Day, so I think it's ten players injured and Chamakh out so it's 11 players.
"It's a big miss for us but the players that have played and performed have done exceptionally well.
"We'll go there and prepare properly and hopefully get a result.
"We've got two very difficult away games. It's a massive call for a club of our stature at the moment, but that's what being in the Premier League is all about.
"We're hoping three or four of the long-term injuries will be back (in January), plus a couple who have picked up hamstring and calf strains we'll be hoping they're back as well."Follow us on Twitter @AdvertiserSport for live game updates from Villa Park and the Etihad Stadium.
