She was taken to hospital with shoulder pain and shock.
A representative from Marshall Surfacing said his driver had turned into Hayes Lane from Godstone Road when his lever came off in his hands and sent the truck into the back of a parked car.
The truck was on its way to small roadworks in nearby Oak Road at the time.
Roy Skinner, who lives in Kenley and was on his way to work, had parked his car next to the elderly woman's to visit the Co-op, only to come out and find his car had also been damaged by the truck.
"I nipped into the shop to buy some fags and came back to find my Audi smashed at the front where the truck had pushed the lady's car into it," he told the Advertiser.
"Not a good start to a Thursday."
The tarmac truck has now been removed and the council are on their way to investigate and repair a lampost damaged during the incident.
