An accident in Coulsdon has partially blocked the A23 Brighton Road northbound at the B2030 Stoats Nest Road.
There is also heavy traffic southbound on the A23 in Coulsdon at the Hollymeak Road junction.
The trains and trams are operating a smooth service.
