Palace boss: I may freshen things up for Leicester City

CRYSTAL Palace boss Ian Holloway is staying positive ahead of the Championship run-in despite seeing his side go six games without a win. "We're still in the play-offs, totally, and I bet a lot of other teams would want to swap with us," said the boss. "Confidence is the hardest thing to get as a group and it's the easiest thing to lose. "In this division, a goal goes in and everything changes. "On any given day, you will make mistakes, and at the moment we're being punished for it. "In midfield, at the back and up front, we've got to keep going but unfortunately we're running out of games." And looking ahead to Saturday's game with Leicester City, he has hinted he may look to bring in some new players but it looks like he'll be without Jonathan Parr and Jonny Williams after both picked up injuries in Tuesday's 3-0 defeat at Ipswich Town. "This Saturday, both teams need to win, but we'll need our fans to help our lads with their belief. "Our fans were singing that we're going to win 4-3 at Ipwich, which was brilliant. "We lost Jonny Parr in the first 20 minutes and I thought he was brilliant on the night and was ripping up that side, but sometimes those things happen. "And Jonny Williams started limping so I had to make a change there as well. "We have got to take on Leicester and beat them. One goal might make a huge difference, but at the minute we've got one player scoring 30 and the rest of the team aren't. "I may have to put fresh people out there to let them have a go. "The Palace fans are absolutely fantastic and they've been through all sorts, but they'll come in and help us create a wonderful atmosphere at Selhurst Park, where there's no fear to play." Don't miss Holloway's full-page column in tomorrow's Croydon Advertiser, where he talks about the current Palace form, violence on the terraces, Cardiff reaching the Premier League and his thinking behind recalling Jason Banton from his loan spell at Plymouth Argyle.
