A MANCHESTER United fanzine has glorified Eric Cantona's kung-fu kick on the 20th anniversary of the French striker's attack on a Crystal Palace fan.
Unofficial magazine Red News, edited by Barney Chilton and founded in 1987, has placed an image of Cantona flying through the air to kick Matthew Simmons with the headline "20 years ago everybody was kung-fu fighting".
Simmons was alleged to have shouted racist abuse at Cantona, who was convicted of assault, banned from football for four months and fined £10,000 by the Football Association as a result of the attack.
Cantona remains a controversial figure at Palace some two decades after he jumped into Selhurst Park's Main Stand.
