ALAN Pardew has been made the favourite to take over at Crystal Palace.
The former Eagles midfielder refused to do his post-match press conference at Newcastle United tonight after their game with Everton.
Magpies assistant manager John Carver took the press conference instead at St James' Park.
Pardew's odds have been slashed with bookmakers. There have been rumours online that Pardew has said his goodbyes to the Newcastle players and that he will agree a three-year deal with the Eagles.
