A MAN has been charged with attempted robbery and possession of an imitation firearm after a bank in Addiscombe was held up yesterday (Tuesday).
Police were called to the Santander bank, in Lower Addiscombe Road, shortly after 3pm to reports of an attempted armed robbery.
A man was arrested in a nearby street and police put cordons in place while the incident was investigated.
Jordan Cordier, 21, of no fixed abode, was charged today with attempted robbery and possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause violence.
He was due to appear at Camberwell Green Magistrates' Court via video link today
