NEIL WARNOCK admits that Scott Dann is "touch and go" to make next weekend's match with West Bromwich Albion.
The central defender is back in light training and has been running this week, after sustaining a knee injury early on in the 2-0 defeat to Hull City before the international break.
But the Eagles boss says the visit of Premier League leaders Chelsea to Selhurst Park on Saturday will come too soon for the former Blackburn Rovers and Birmingham City man, who could be touch and go for next week.
"We have one or two problems," admitted Warnock.
"Scott Dann has done some running and some light training this week and he is getting better, but I think this weekend will come too quickly for him.
"He might have a chance [for the West Brom game], but it will be touch and go and maybe the Sunderland game is more realistic."
