PENALTY expert Glenn Murray wanted to come on and take the spot kick that won Crystal Palace the three points against West Ham. Skipper Mile Jedinak converted the sport kick early in the second half but with no designated taker, last season's top scorer was keen to get onto the pitch to despatch the spot kick. Palace boss Tony Pulis said after the game: "Whoever is confident for me is the one, unless you've got a specialised penalty taker and Glenn Murray was right up (on the touchline awaiting to come on as a sub) when we got the penalty saying 'get me on there, get me on there' and he did - you think I'm joking... "Mile's stepped up and thank God he did."
