JULIAN Speroni says Crystal Palace did enough to claim all three points against Aston Villa on Saturday.
Jason Puncheon was the match-winner 14 minutes from time after the Eagles had gone close through Yannick Bolasie and Cameron Jerome.
"We had a few good chances and we hit the bar too," said Speroni.
"In the first half, Villa probably kept a lot of the possession but they didn't really create much. I think I touched the ball a few times, so we were under control.
"In the second half we were a lot better and created a lot of chances and could have scored more than one, but we'll take 1-0 and we move forward.
"We have to focus now on Everton and what's coming in a tough match."
