A WOMAN had to be talked down from the roof of the car park behind Croydon Village Outlet this afternoon.
Thought to be a member of the public, the woman was helped down from the five-storey Croydon Central NCP car park at approximately 12.15pm.
According to a source at the Whitgift Centre, security staff from the shopping centre, a paramedic and the husband of the woman, reported to be in her fifties, helped talk her down.
A spokeswoman for London Ambulance Service confirmed they were called to the Whitgift Centre at approximately 12.15pm. They sent one ambulance crew and the woman was taken to Croydon University Hospital.
