CRYSTAL Palace manager Tony Puls paid tribute to midfielder Joe Ledley after the former Cardiff City man scored against the Bluebirds this afternoon.
With the Eagles lead 1-0, Ledley forced the ball home for their second after half-time and the Wales international refused to celebrate.
And Pulis was happy with his contribution, pointing to his work rate in particular.
"I thought Ledley was fantastic today," said the boss.
"He has brought a little bit of class, he has got a fantastic attitude, his work-rate suits what I want as a manager and his ability is absolutely first class.
"It was great passing, the first pass he passed it through the eye of a needle for Punch to get hold of it.
"He was a great player for this football club and a great servant and he is a Cardiff boy, a south Walian, so it is nice."
