CRYSTAL Palace are to take advantage of their manager's penchant for snazzy headwear by selling personalised Tony Pulis baseball caps.
The headgear will go on sale at their next home game against Aston Villa on April 12 for just £9.99 per cap.
The hats, dubbed the Pulis Peaks, all have a picture of the former Stoke and Portsmouth boss, 56, on the front.
But in a unique piece of merchandising, Palace fans can decide what slogan they would like on the back.
The choice includes: 'I'm the Newport Special One', 'Jules for Argentina' and 'Manchester United, we're coming for you!'
To promote the hats, Pulis has agreed to wear a special edition cap in a one-off move, during Saturday's match at Cardiff.
In a thinly-veiled dig at the struggling Welsh side's owner and his choice of manager, the slogan on this hat will simply read: 'You picked the wrong man, Vincent Tan'
The Advertiser also understands the club's popular cheerleading squad, the Crystals, will all dress in Pulis Peaks before the Villa game while dancing to Tom Jones' Green Green Grass of Home, the Welsh gaffer's favourite song.
A source close to the club told the Advertiser: "Tony is very excited about this; it's entirely his idea. He firmly believes it's time to put the baseball cap back on the fashion map.
"Everyone's loving it. Even Keith Millen says he'll wear one on Saturday.
"I'm not sure Gerry Francis fancies it though. He's got a lot of hair."
