SUNDERLAND defender Wes Brown was disappointed he and his team-mates couldn't take all three points against Crystal Palace on Saturday. The hosts dominated the first period but the Eagles came out a lot stronger in the second and could have won it at the end through Kagisho Dikgacoi's chance from close range. And with the scrap for survival looking like it will go down to the wire, Brown is hoping to get points on the board as soon as possible. "We just missed that finishing touch but we played well enough to win the game," he said. "We had a couple of good chances and Palace had a great one at the end as well to nick it. "It was a good, all-round performance but we were disappointed not to get the three points. "We played well but if we keep that going and have the same attitude, we've still got a good chance. "It was a game there to be taken. It is still tight down there in the league. "We tried our best to win the game for the fans but we still need to get the points on the board. "One win and we could be out of the relegation zone. We have got a game or two in hand but one of them is against Manchester City. "We can still get points against the big teams though."
