NEARLY 20 years after he jumped into the Selhurst Park crowd, Eric Cantona finds himself back in hot water in the capital.
The former Man Utd striker has been arrested on suspicion of assault, after allegedly getting into an altercation in Primrose Hill this lunchtime (Wednesday).
A spokeswoman for the Metropolitan Police said: "We were called at 12.55pm following reports of an assault. Officers attended and a man in his 40s was arrested.
"He was taken in to custody and subsequently cautioned for common assault. The victim, also a man, did not require medical assistance."
The Frenchman caused controversy in January 1995, when he aimed a kung-fu kick at Matthew Simmons, after being sent off during United's 1-1 draw with Palace at Selhurst Park.
