CRYSTAL Palace boss Tony Pulis is keeping a close eye on midfielder Jonny Williams' progress at loan club Ipswich Town.
The Welsh international made his second appearance from the substitutes' bench in the Tractor Boys' 1-0 win at Yeovil Town on Tuesday night.
And Pulis is hoping the 20-year-old will start games before his 28-day loan spell ends.
The boss told the Advertiser: "I was on my way down to watch him on Tuesday. Jonny needs to play football and obviously we want him to get the time in, that's important.
"We hope he gets it and he starts games for Ipswich playing in the Championship. It's a tough, tough league.
"For Jonny to get some games as a starter will be brilliant for him. We won't decide on his future until the loan move ends."
And Pulis says he may send some more youngsters out on loan to pick up Football League experience.
The likes of Sullay KaiKai and Hiram Boateng are at Crawley Town, while Ryan Inniss is at Gillingham and Kwesi Appiah at Notts County.
"There might be one or two younger ones going out but the senior ones we want to try and keep closer to the group if we can," added Pulis.
"John Gregory is really happy with Sullay and Hiram."
