A NOISY neighbour in Croydon has received an ever-so-slightly sarcastic request to keep the music down.
A note declaring "Your Bass Speakers are AMAZING!" was found on the front door of a block of flats in Wellesley Road, Croydon, yesterday (Monday) afternoon.
The note, which begins "Dear Loud Neighbour", reads: "Your sound system is amazing! It is so loud and the bass is so rockin' that it actually shakes all of the apartment buildings around you. Wow you are so AWESOME!
"This is exceptionally rad when you put it on at 2.30 in the morning and wake up the entire community. Wicked AWESOME!
"We are all very impressed with your super cool sound system. Don't even think about turning it down when you get home at 2am and want to share it with everyone that lives around you. Your Envious Neighbour."
The letter, which is inspired by similar notes posted on the internet, ends with a less sarcastic warning.
"Keep this up," the note says, "and the authorities will be called and you can start looking for a new place to stay."
A resident in the block of flats said: "It was on our main door when I got home. I would love to know who put it up so I could high-five them. It cracked me up.
"Hopefully will be hearing no more of their crappy music."
