CRYSTAL Palace defender Dean Moxey says a victory at relegation rivals Sunderland this Saturday will not mean the Eagles are certain of avoiding the drop.
In what is turning out to be the tightest relegation scrap in Premier League victory with up to ten sides not out of trouble, a Palace win at the Stadium of Light this weekend will push them on to 30 points.
It would certainly help them achieve survival, and then another four wins could make sure the Eagles are a top flight club again.
And Moxey feels Palace can get maximum points on the road in the north east, especially after beating the Mackems back in August 3-1.
"The away games, they're all going to be hard," he said.
"It's a cliché but as the gaffer has said to us, we've got ten cup finals left so we've got to carry on and do what we've got to do.
"If we show the commitment we showed, we'll get the points.
"It's a big game now against Sunderland. If we win this weekend it doesn't guarantee our safety.
"It's another game for us to go up there and win. We beat them at Selhurst Park with a first win in the league in August so I'm sure we can do it again."
