TONY PULIS says contract negotiations with some of Crystal Palace's star players will have to wait until the Eagles know which division they will be playing in next season.
Julian Speroni is one of several players out of contract this summer, but amid speculation over whether or not he will be offered a new deal, the Eagles boss says any contract talks are on hold for now.
He said: "The situation is we don't know if we are going to be a Premier League side or a Championship side at the moment, so it is difficult to start any sort of negotiations, because you have to work off two different pages."
However, Pulis was full of praise for his goalkeeper, who has been at the club for more than a decade and has spoken this week of his dream of playing for Argentina at the World Cup in Brazil this summer.
"Julian has been magnificent since I've come here," he said.
"He is a top professional and he's done brilliantly on the pitch."
