TOM Ince was delighted to come up against Ryan Giggs at Selhurst Park on Saturday, a man he grew up watching alongside his father Paul at Old Trafford. And the winger revealed he spoke to his dad about facing the Red Devils before the game. "He said to go and enjoy it and don't get too worked up," said Ince. "I just had to enjoy the moment as there would have been a lot of other people wanting to be in my position to face them. "Seeing Ryan Giggs – he and my dad are good friends over the years. And to play against Ryan, who is twice my age, too. "It was a nice moment for me but I'm at the other end of the stick whereas he's at the end. "I had a nice chat with him after the game. He said to keep working hard and that's what I'll do." And Ince has thanked his Crystal Palace team-mates for making him feel welcome in the three weeks he's been at the club since his deadline say signing. "The lads are fantastic and it's always easier when they welcome you that well," he said. "They have made me feel at home and I've felt that over the last three weeks since I've been here. "I'm enjoying every minute of it and when it gets to a matchday, I prepare myself the best I can and get in the team week in, week out."
