BRENNA SHAE may reside in Washington DC, but here she explains why part of her heart will always belong to SE25...
How did you come to be a Palace fan, living in the States? I lived in Croydon while going to university and my boyfriend is a big Palace fan, so he would take me to the games. I loved the atmosphere at Selhurst Park, it feels as though the fans are part of the game. When we moved back to America, we tried our best to keep up with Palace. This year has been great because NBC Sports offers every Premier League game in full HD so we don't miss a game. Most memorable game and why? The most memorable game probably has to be winning the play-offs last season but beating Manchester United at Old Trafford a few years ago was pretty amazing too. One of my favourite live games was in the Carling Cup fourth round a few years ago when we beat Southampton 2-0. My dad had come to visit me from the States and had never been to a football match before. Even though it was a Tuesday night cup game the crowd was great and Jonny Williams was really impressive.Funniest moment supporting Palace? The funniest moments are always the chants the fans come up with, especially when they're taunting the away fans. I like "Is there a fire drill?" and a few others I probably can't mention.Who is your all-time favourite Palace player and why? I have only been following Palace for a few years now, but Glenn Murray is an exceptional player; I can't wait to see him back in action. I love Mark Bright as well but he was before my time.If you could bring one player to Palace, who would it be and why? I would love to see Palace have an American player like Landon Donovan. Hercules Gomez, who plays in Mexico, would be good too. Finally, where will Palace finish in the table this year? My only goal for this season is for Palace to stay up, so I would be happy if we finished 17th. I have a feeling we might finish a couple of spots higher though, maybe 15th?To take part in Fan of the Week, e-mail newsdesk@croydonadvertiser.co.uk or tweet us @advertisersport
