POPSTAR Dane Bowers has admitted abusing door staff at a seaside holiday camp where he was performing. The former Another Level frontman, who lives in Kingswood Way, Selsdon, pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive behaviour which was likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress, when he appeared at Chichester Magistrates' Court today (Tuesday). The Freak Me singer, 34, "shouted and swore" at bouncers at Butlins, in Bognor Regis, West Sussex, during his tirade. The court also heard Bowers went on to call the duty manager a "knob". Bowers, who once recorded a song with Victoria Beckham, was the headline act at the resort's 1990s night in April 2013. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 court costs, after admitting the offences. Bowers is currently appearing on our TV screens, forming a boy band alongside other faded musicians from the 1990s and 2000s for the second series of ITV2 show The Big Reunion. The case against his brother, electrician Wade Bowers, of Kingswood Way, South Croydon, has been adjourned to a future date. The 31-year-old has previously pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of cocaine but not guilty to three counts of assault by beating. A third man, builder Terry Kean, 35, of Limpsfield Road, south Croydon, previously pleaded guilty to cocaine possession and today pleaded guilty to the same offence admitted by Dane Bowers. Bowers, once the squeeze of glamour model Jordan, shot to fame with Another Level in the late 1990s. He now primarily plies his trade as a club DJ.
