A WOMAN has been detained by police after walking off the end of a train platform.
Transport police were called to South Croydon station at 3.13pm today, a British Transport Police spokesman said.
Officers escorted the woman, in her twenties, away from the prohibited area, the spokesman added.
She is being detained by police pending possible further action.
Trains were running normally again by 3.33pm, the BTP spokesman said.
Southern Rail has warned customers of potential short notice disruption on trains running through the station until 4.30pm.
